Soccer, The Beihuan Middle School Way

I played soccer with some of my students after school today.  The kids play in a small grassy area between two buildings that is anything but a safe playing area.  The field is on a sideways slope, it’s riddled with bunches of trees, shrubbery, sewage lids, rocks, and even a light post.  The whole time, I was afraid that I would turn and run into a tree and knock myself out.  Of course, then the story would fly all over school and I would be known as the clumsy foreign teacher.  Here’s a rough sketch of what the field looked like:Soccer field
